Sabor a Barrio is a Peruvian restaurant that has been part of the neighborhood for several years.

In 2024, following the growth of Pollo Campeón, the restaurant transitioned to new management under chef Max Rabineau. With that change came a simple idea: keep the place going, but shape it into a more family-driven space centered around home-style Peruvian cooking.

This stage is not about starting over, but about building on what was already there, bringing a warmer atmosphere, familiar flavors, and meals meant to be shared.

Inspired by chicha culture, Sabor a Barrio reflects everyday Peruvian life: casual, flavorful, and rooted in community. A place where food feels close, comforting, and real.
